Challenges

Challenges

Challenges are defined as an area of health and care delivery of planning across the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw region, where adopting or trialling a new intervention, solution or delivery method may result in at least one of the following:

  • Improved quality of outcomes
  • Reduced cost
  • Improved productivity
  • Improved patient outcomes
  • Improved patient experience

The Innovation Hub encourages all colleagues from across South Yorkshire & Bassetlaw ICS to come forward with examples of areas of their work where innovation could help to address an identified challenge. Areas for potential solutions can be put forward by staff at any level of the organisation, and no challenge is too small.

When you submit a challenge

The SYB ICS Innovation Hub team will review your submission, and follow up directly with you for any clarification. If we are aware of potential existing solutions to the identified challenge, we will work with you to signpost to relevant resources or organisations who may be able to help.

New, unmet needs will be captured and featured on this page to allow other innovators interested in solving health and care problems to try and address the need. Challenges will also be shared with partners across the ICS, and the Innovation Hub will work with key networks to identify potential solutions.
